Thai Beef Potato

To make Thai curry paste at home: mix 3 – 4 tbsp tomato paste along with 1 tsp mustard paste, 1/2 tsp red chili powder and ½ tsp coriander powder. Thai curry paste is ready to use.


Beef undercut 1 kg
Potatoes 3 medium
Salt as per taste
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Red Chili Grounded 1 tbsp
Thai curry paste (see note) 4 tbsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Spring Onion 3 – 4
Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch
Green Chili 3 – 4
Mezan Cooking Oil 1/2 cup


Chop spring onion, coriander and green chilies finely. Peel and cube potatoes on the sides.
Wash and strain meat to dry thoroughly, marinate with salt and garlic and refrigerate for 15 – 20 minutes
Heat Mezan Cooking Oil in a wok for 3 – 4 minutes at medium heat and fry meat in it until light golden. Take out and fry potato pieces also in the oil.
Shift Mezan Cooking Oil in a pan and stir chopped spring onion (only white part) in it
Add red chili and turmeric and stir fry with the help of water sprinkling. Add fried meat in it.
Mix well and add Thai curry paste with 1 cup water, cook on medium heat until the meat gets half done. Add potatoes and cook till meat is tender
